Approval for Disability Parking Permits for the Vision Impaired has taken one step closer to becoming a reality. On 7 September 2018, Blind Bats Inc. supported a petition to recognise vision impaired people of Queensland as being eligible to obtain disability parking permits and now the first step towards legislation is about to be made.
Under the new legislation, the legally blind will be able to attain Disability Parking Permits in the same way as many other people with a disability. A great breakthrough for the vision impaired of Queensland.
Blind Bats Inc. will be following this process closely and provide updates as they occur.

  1. First of all I would like to say superb blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
I was interested to know how you center yourself and
clear your mind prior to writing. I have had a difficult
time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out.

I truly do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to
15 minutes are usually lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or tips?
    Appreciate it!
